The Darling Downs Branch of The Australian Stock Horse Society

The Darling Downs Branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society is a not for profit member based organisation which coordinates events that promote the versatility of the great Australian Stock Horse - the “Breed for Every Need”.

The pinnacle event of the DDASHS is the Dalby Australian Stock Horse Sale, held annually in December and this year celebrating its' 48th year as Australia's Premier Approved Australian Stock Horse Sale.

Our Branch is also committed to the further development of our Branch Members through regular Practice Days and Club Days.  Some of the past teachers at these events include Ron Wall, Lindsay Anderson, Todd Graham, and Terry Hall which offers Members a great opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry.

Aside from the annual ASHS Sale, during the year our Branch can also be seen sponsoring various local shows in the district, as well as supporting Stockman Challenge events, Campdraft events, and other local community events, in our region.

If you enjoy Australian Stock Horses, new members are welcome.
